House of the Dragon AR Snapchat lens — dragon appearing over real London location, used across 14 countries
House of the Dragon × Snapchat. 14 countries. A dragon that appeared on the map where you stood.
HBO · Snap Map Location AR

House of the
Dragon.

A Snap Map location AR experience tied to the House of the Dragon season launch. Dragons appeared over real-world locations across 14 countries, anchored to where users stood on the Snap Map.

The mechanic gave audiences something to find, not just view. Location-specific content meant every share came from a different real place. The experience scaled across 14 countries without a separate build for each.

easyJet AR try-on Snapchat lens — body-tracked uniform try-on experience, 400k impressions and 45k shares
easyJet AR uniform try-on. Body tracked. 400k impressions, 45k shares earned.
400k impressions · 45k shares

easyJet.

A body-tracked AR try-on lens for easyJet, letting Snapchat users wear the crew uniform in real time through the camera. Body tracking meant the lens moved with the user. The share mechanic came from the format itself.

45,000 shares without a paid distribution strategy. The design decision was to make the try-on feel accurate enough that sending it to a friend felt like showing them something real.

Capabilities

What we build
in social AR.

Platform-native builds on Snap and TikTok. The mechanic earns the share, or we rethink it.

01.
Snap Lenses

Custom AR experiences built natively in Lens Studio for Snapchat's camera. Face lenses, world AR, body tracking, location-anchored experiences, and Snap Map activations. Built for campaigns that need to reach, spread, and be remembered.

02.
TikTok Effects

Branded AR effects built natively in Effect House for TikTok creators. When the effect hits a trend, it spreads without paid support. The creative has to be worth using in a video. We design for that moment, not just the demo reel.

03.
Virtual try-on and product AR

Body-tracked try-on, face-tracked accessories, and AR product reveals that let the audience wear or hold something before they buy it. Designed for accuracy, not novelty. The try-on only works when it feels like the real thing.

Gen AI lenses

Custom generative AI integrated into social AR: real-time image generation, style transfer, bespoke LoRA models, and AI-driven transformation effects. The AI is built from scratch for the brief, not borrowed from a template.

Investment

What a social AR
build costs.

No mystery pricing. Scope is driven by interaction complexity and platform count. These are the real starting points.

How it works

From brief to live
in 3 to 8 weeks.

Social AR builds move fast when the brief is clear. The whole process from brief to publishing is managed by the studio. You do not need a Lens Studio account or a TikTok partner login.

01
Brief and mechanic definition Days 1–3
We identify the single action the audience should take with the lens. What do they do with it? Who do they send it to? Why would they share this specific moment?
02
Creative and interaction design Week 1
We design the AR mechanic: the trigger, the transformation, the moment that earns the share. Platform constraints are built into the design from the start, not retrofitted later.
03
Build and review Weeks 2–5
Built natively in Lens Studio or Effect House. A working lens on your device early in the process, not a final reveal at the end. Iteration happens on the real experience, not a prototype.
04
Testing, publish, and handover Week 4–8
Device testing across hardware, platform approval submission and management, and a handover brief so your media team knows how to brief the paid push around it.
Every build ships with
Published lens or effect live on Snap or TikTok
Platform approval handled end to end by the studio
QR code and share link for your campaign assets
Performance brief: how to read the lens analytics
Source files retained for future iterations

What you bring: the campaign objective, the audience, the brand assets, and the timeline. We handle the rest.

Common questions

What people ask us
about social AR.

A Snap Lens is an AR experience built inside Snapchat's camera. Users activate it from the lens carousel and the AR overlays, animates, or reacts in real time through the front or rear camera. For brands, Snap Lenses are powerful because they are shared by choice. When a user shares a lens moment to their story or sends it to a friend, that impression is earned. RBKAVIN. Immersive Studio designs and builds Snap Lenses from brief to launch as an official Snap AR partner.
A TikTok Effect is a branded AR experience built in Effect House and available to all TikTok creators when they film. When an effect hits a trend, it spreads without paid distribution: creators pick it up, use it in their content, and their audience follows. The effect has to be worth using in a video. RBKAVIN. Immersive Studio is an official TikTok Effects partner and builds branded Effects from concept to live.
The ones that work give the audience something to do, not just something to look at. The mechanic has to earn the share: there needs to be a reason to film yourself using it and a reason to send that to someone else. A lens that puts a brand logo on your face does not earn a share. A lens that turns you into a dragon, challenges a friend, or generates something unique to you does. The brief question we always ask is: why would someone share this specific moment?
Pricing depends on interaction complexity. A focused single-mechanic lens, face-tracked, with brand assets and custom animation, starts from $3,000. A more complex build with body tracking, multi-stage interaction, world AR, or generative AI elements starts from $10,000. Brief complexity and timeline both affect scope. The fastest route is to share the brief: send what you have and you get an honest estimate within 48 hours.
A focused single-mechanic lens takes 2 to 5 weeks from confirmed brief to published experience. Complex builds with body tracking, generative AI integration, or dual-platform delivery take 5 to 8 weeks. Fast-turnaround builds have been completed in 10 days for campaign deadlines. The clock starts from brief confirmation, so the sooner we have a clear brief, the more runway there is before the campaign date.
Yes. Social AR is built per platform because Lens Studio and Effect House have different toolchains, interaction models, and publishing workflows. The creative concept and visual design carry across both. The build can be staged so the Snap Lens launches first and TikTok follows, or both go simultaneously. As an official partner of Snap and TikTok, we build natively on both platforms and manage the approval and publishing process end to end.
RBKAVIN. Immersive Studio is an official Snap AR partner and official TikTok Effects partner that builds social AR for brand campaigns. The studio has delivered work for HBO, easyJet, Chester Zoo, and more, with over 1.5B total campaign impressions across six years of AR work. Creative Director and Creative Technologist Kavin Kumar leads all builds from brief to launch.
